My costume design career began when I was about 6 years old, when I would dress my younger sister (sorry, Hannah) into all manner of tutus, aprons, napkins, feathers, and LOTS of plastic jewelry and parade her around my childhood house, making up stories along the way.
Today my work is (slightly) more sophisticated, but the little girl with a passion for dressing people up and telling stories is still alive and well. After a period of studying performance in New York City and Shakespeare in London, I found myself a home at the Savannah College of Art and Design in the beautiful Savannah, Georgia. Here my extraordinary teachers armed me with a vast array of tools and knowledge to continue to tell stories through production design. In the fall of 2019, I moved up North to Boston to continue my education at Boston University, pursuing an MFA in Costume Design.
Ultimately I intend to center my work around creating theatre aimed at social change and education. I truly believe theatre can be one of the most powerful vehicles for inspiring change and impacting lives.
Outside of the theatre and costume shop, I enjoy going to the beach, playing tennis, avocados and hanging out with my darling cat, Angel.
